The Darden Sisters Band is comprised of Selah, on the violin; Clarah, the lead guitarist; Havi on mandolin, and Tabbi, the bassist.
All four girls are vocalists in the group, focusing on harmonies and musical blends.
Raised in a family of musicians, the sisters grew up surrounded by musical influences in almost every genre. In the early 2000's, their family embarked on several tours around the U.S., singing together. Originally their vocals were backed by their Grandpa Joe Tatar on honky-tonk style piano, but eventually, they each decided on an instrument, and when the family came off the road in 2008, the girls began to hone in on forming their own musical entity.
The four sisters, all songwriters, now play several instruments each. Since coming off the road, they have developed their sound, which has been dubbed "Alternative Americana".
